Superfood Hot Chocolate

in Recipes

Can you believe it’s the first day of December? Whhhat.

To me this only means one thing – the countdown to Christmas and the (now considered perfectly acceptable) constant stream of Christmas music being played around the house (and car, and shopping mall, and grocery store, and every other public space everywhere.) Because I adore Christmas and rarely listened to any Christmas music last year while I was living in Thailand, I am welcoming the Holiday’s with all of the jolly tunes.

If you’re like me and currently living every moment in full-fledged Christmas spirit, why not sip a big cup of hot cocoa while you Feliz Navidad and create your grown up Christmas list. Hot chocolate is the perfect drink to sip while you deck the halls with boughs of holly, strike the harp and join the chorus, and fa-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la. It’s absolutely perfect when your jingling bells, stringing up the lights, and wandering around in a marshmallow world in the winter. Hot chocolate is especially lovely when your home for the holidays, rockin’ around the Christmas tree, or when you’re wishing for a white Christmas.

Basically, hot chocolate is just ideal – with or without the cheerful tunes.

I swear there’s hot chocolate under the mounds of whipped cream.

This hot chocolate is especially delicious made from scratch made with some amazing superfood ingredients that will keep you dosed up on plenty of antioxidants and goodness for the cold weather. Instead of the packet of sugared up junk, this hot chocolate uses antioxidant rich cacao powder, Vitamin filled and energizing maca powder, heart healthy almond butter, and mineral packed coconut sugar.

Joy to the world – this hot chocolate is amazing.
